“La Balena Blu”: Wine & Food in the heart of Monterosso …..
“La Balena Blu” is a recently opened Wine Bar in the historical center of Monterosso: its fresh and nice marine style will grab your attention when you walk up the street, Via Vittorio Emanuele.
Even though it is not the same part of the village where you will be staying (as our apartments are all located in the “new” part of the town), it doesn’t take long to get there (max 10min walk) and can be a good solution whether you are visiting the Old Town and wish to have a bite or you are coming back from hiking or boat tour and you are ready for a very good (and large) aperitif !!!
From the tables outside, you will be already able to notice the nice served platters of food. The ingredients are local, fresh, well prepared and the price is very correct.
A large choice of excellent focaccia’s (also stuffed with hamburger !!), various salads, bruschetta’s and cold plates.
Next to fresh and delicious fruit smoothies (frullati), you can enjoy a long range of cocktails finely decorated and accompanied by generous appetizers (rare to find in Monterosso…..;)
